El presente artículo de investigación tiene como objetivo realizar un inventario del software que emplean los hoteles del área Metropolitana de San José de Cúcuta inscritos a COTELCO identificando que clase de software hotelero utilizan y cual de esto es el más utilizado. Su enfoque es cuantitativo, el cual permite identificar características en el estudio utilizando como instrumento la encuesta,
por tanto esta permitirá indagar e interactuar con los participantes, visualizar los datos y definir conclusiones que aclaren el estudio de software hotelero y clasificar el tipo de software utilizado en las diferentes dependencias de un hotel. En primera instancia este enfoque proporcionó una información sobre la realidad que solo el 53% de los hoteles del área metropolitana de San José de Cúcuta inscritos a COTELCO, cuentan con algún tipo de software
hotelero.

Abstract
The objective of this research article is to carry out an inventory of the software used by hotels in the Metropolitan Area of San José de Cúcuta registered with COTELCO, identifying what kind of hotel software they use and which of these is the most used. Its approach is quantitative, which allows to identify characteristics in the study using the survey as an instrument, therefore it will allow to investigate and interact with the participants, visualize the data and define conclusions that clarify the study of hotel software and classify the type of software used. in the different rooms of a hotel. In the first instance, this approach provided information on the reality that only 53% of the hotels in the metropolitan area of San José de Cúcuta registered with COTELCO have some type of hotel software.
