Abstract

In an era of increasing interconnectedness, social media has established itself as the

heartbeat of society and its influence on the success of ventures is indisputable. In particular, "the city of Cúcuta is characterized by having a large majority of informal commerce, and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises occupy 90% of the commercial management of the city" (Bastos, 2017, p, 11) that is presented as a good scenario to explore the strategies and tools necessary to increase the visibility of businesses in social networks.

The purpose of this research is to develop a guide that provides key strategies and best practices to increase the visibility of startups on social networks in Cúcuta. To achieve this goal, different aspects will be studied, such as the proper selection of the different social platforms, the creation of useful and captivating content for the client, as well as the correct use of digital marketing. "Undoubtedly, companies have had to reinvent themselves, advancing quickly or taking a giant step towards digital, because the scenario they face leaves no other alternative, being forced to change, to adapt to the online consumption of their products" (Celestino, 2021, P,5). This guide aims to be a practical and useful means for all those entrepreneurs who seek to spread and increase their customer base through social networks in Cúcuta.

It is expected that the results of this research will provide a clear and concrete vision on the most effective strategies to achieve this goal, taking into account the particularities and characteristics of this city. "It is also recommended to implement technological tools, acquire knowledge about modern administration and continue to encourage

participation in partnership with the development of digital marketing in their organizations" (Celestino, 2021, p, 9). In summary, the following research paper aims to provide a practical guide to increase the visibility in social networks of the enterprises of Cúcuta.
