Abstract

The research for this article is documentary-based, based on sources obtained from Google Scholar. Published in 2020, this publication seeks to highlight the importance of artificial intelligence in higher education, based on an individual perspective and the analysis of contributions from other authors. Artificial intelligence has transformed higher education, optimized processes and improving the learning experience. Its ability to personalize content allows each student to progress at their own pace. It also facilitates the automation of administrative tasks, reducing faculty workload. AI tools improve academic assessment by providing immediate feedback. However, their use also presents challenges, such as the potential reduction in human interaction. Data privacy and security are key concerns in universities. Inequality in technological access could lead to learning gaps. Algorithmic biases can affect objectivity in learning. Despite these challenges, AI continues to revolutionize the educational field. Its implementation must be balanced with traditional teaching to maximize its benefits.
