Mental health in Colombia how a priority

Abstract

As a purpose, this article seeks reflection and awareness about mental health, so it is important to make known about this subject in a country like Colombia, this is because a large part of its population is characterised by rather traditional and conservative thinking, just as people are mostly used to creating stigma and minimizing human-related disorders, because they do not consider them a "real problem."

There is still hope, however, as thought has changed over the years, albeit slowly, as science has been able to demonstrate that if mental health is not managed properly, the well-being of people can be affected in a negative and REAL way.

This change in thinking is due mainly to the latest generation, which is characterized by being much more sensitive and susceptible to what happens around it, so that, taking into account the above mentioned and through this research, It seeks to investigate a little about the mental health of Colombians, thus investigating issues such as its concept, the historical context behind this term and why it is so important to talk about this topic today; how it became so popular today, the possible causes and disturbances that could arise if the balance is not properly balanced, as well as policies, laws or decrees that support such problems and create a more secure environment for the psychological in Colombia, children, adolescents, adults and even elderly people.
