Abstract

Innovation in Colombia has become over time a critical determining factor for the growth and consolidation of companies, it is here where the purpose of this research was born, which focuses on analyzing the current state of innovation in Colombia through The bibliographic review, under the framework of the qualitative methodological approach, being that initially the conceptualization of the term "business innovation" is characterized and identified, consequently it can be clarified that the type of research developed is descriptive in an initial phase and argumentative in a secondary phase . In the same way, it is important to mention that the information collection instrument was the bibliographic review, where different types of national databases were consulted such as Unicoc, Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Biblio-network, in the same way databases were consulted. international data such as Scopus, Latindex, S-cielo, among others. By way of conclusion, it can be mentioned that companies in Colombia have acquired a greater level of flexibility in the face of the use of innovative strategies, since the confinement framed by Covid-19 caused organizations to improve their competitive performance, thus allowing maximize profits through innovation.
