Abstract

Music in video games is one of the most impactful elements that shape the player's experience. When you start a game, the melodies and rhythms convey those emotions, generate expectations, and create memories that remain long after the screen is turned off. Music, or soundtracks, not only accompany the adventure, but transform it, making each level and scene a moment filled with meaning and emotion. Games like Halo and Skyrim have demonstrated over time that gaming is a major milestone. An epic soundtrack can awaken emotions even before the story begins, while games like Super Mario Galaxy radiate happiness and energy with upbeat melodies that make players feel part of the adventure.
