This theoretical review article focuses on the investigation of how the integration of Artificial Intelligence allows the career of Architecture to obtain great benefits specifically in the areas of budgeting and programming. Based on a literature review in a bibliographic database, it was possible to show how the use of tools centred on AI allows planning processes, project management, simulations and predictive analysis techniques to be carried out, improving the competences in budgeting and programming in architecture. Likewise, by focusing on these tools through active learning, such as the constructivist approach, it allows teachers and students to make positive changes in their teaching and learning processes. This is why the research revealed a positive impact on the management of AI and how it is necessary to make a methodological restructuring of the training of future architects; since the linking of practical strategies based on AI allows to prepare the future professional for a competitive labour market and updated by information technologies. This combined view of this article offers a perspective on how AI in education is evolving and the trends that define it on the current scene.
