Environmental management as a CSR culture among SMEs in the clay sector in the municipality of San José de Cúcuta and its metropolitan area, Colombia

The present work of investigation, is directed to the analysis of the environmental management of the SMEs of the industrial sector of the clay, subject that at present is inserted in discussion of different sectors that conform the societies around the thematic one on the roll that is incumbent on to him to the organizations for its good management in the social practices. It is from this, where the promotion arises the necessity to realize the following investigation looking for of a culture of RSC with base the fulfillment of alternatives of environmental management. The investigation presents/displays an ample theoretical frame first of all on the matter, where the RSC concept is outlined, with its definitions, related approaches and terms, its his-tory and evolution, existing standardization and measuring instruments, its evaluation and arguments of social type that they justify from the angles ethical and economic; the model of stakeholders and the ecological alternatives propose to articulate the small and medians companies (PYMES) with the environmental context. The used methodology is a work of field where descriptive and documentary information takes shelter of the industrialists and experts on the subject of environmental management and its application in companies SMEs of the industrial sector of the transformation of the clay of the North department of Santander, Colombia. Their results and contributions of the investigation, can serve as model to improve the environmental management well and to contribute to foment a culture of RSC in the SMEs, study object.
