Effects of the covid-19 pandemic on the financial situation of industrial companies listed on the Colombian stock exchange

Abstract

The stock markets are of great importance for the development of the economies of the country, through these the financial structuring will be carried out, whose main purpose consists in the redistribution of the resources that a productive sector has and that at the same time require the raising of resources in order to be able to grow continuously; that have the capital to be able to invest in resources that in the future will produce profitability. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial situation of companies in the industrial sector listed on the Colombian stock exchange; through this process key aspects are determined for the design of the research since it is of descriptive type with a quantitative approach where it relates the methodological framework of the research that will be based on systematization of knowledge, therefore, the analysis of the financial effects produced by the pandemic of COVID-19 will be carried out through the collection of numerical and statistical data obtained through the financial statements of the industrial companies listed in the Colombian Stock Exchange, by means of the execution of the non-experimental study. In the same way, the objectives were outlined with the purpose of carrying out an exhaustive investigation of the main effects generated by the pandemic, taking as a segment the industrial companies listed in the Colombian stock exchange. In the same way, the inclusion of theories, antecedents and legal regulations that will serve as support to solve the problem that was initially raised. However, the results to be obtained in the research have the purpose of analyzing the changes and effects that the companies presented in their financial situation during the COVID-19 pandemic in the industrial sector listed in the Colombian Stock Exchange.
